Anyway... St. Louis in December is FREEZING, and technically we weren't allowed to go in until 10. Fortunately, some of the more enterprising rushers found an unlocked door in a weird alley or something, and nobody bothered to throw us out. Niice. Then, when they put up the understudy board for the mat (Megan and I rushed for evening), my friend Amy and I were standing out in the storm lobby trying to read what was on it, from rather far away... "Ooh, the bottom name is Fred Jones!" "And he's going on as a character with one name!" "So... Steve, Paul, or *gasp* Gordon!" "It's too long to be Paul, it's either Steve or Gordon." "*pause* Has Fred ever gone on as Steve?" "*pause* DAMMIT! That boy BETTER be back for the evening show or we're going to... going to... cry! And then beat him up!"

And then Megan got there and we spent the next 6 hours whining about how Curtis PROMISED us he'd be in St. Louis and if FRED was on as Gordon again we were going to FROWL at him and cry at innapropriate times. And then we were almost late for the show, and we came running in the lobby, and Amy saw us and yelled "CURTIS IS ON! CURTIS IS ON!" and Megan and I started squealing and everyone turned and looked at us, and we were like "*pause* Curtis is on! *scurry away*" And before the show, Megan was talking to someone, and I saw Curtis wandering around backstage, so I waved at him, and he smiled and waved back and did his spazzy-Curtis thing, and then Megan sees me waving, and she WHIPS around and starts freaking out and waving at Curtis, and he does this double-take and laughs and waves. Meanwhile, no one else can see Curtis beause they're not looking backstage, so all they can see is us jumping around and waving... we kept getting weird looks during the show.

Karmine Alers was on as Mimi, and Dana Dawson was on as Mark's Mom. Karmine's Mimi is... WOW. Just... wow. She blew a few lines (I think it was only her 4th time on as Mimi) but no one really noticed... although Megan and I started cracking up when she said "We muuuuust regret, or life is yours to miss" Anyway, she was wow. Dana wasn't really a great Mark's mom, but we were pretty damn determined to like her. She's so awesome. Anyhow... stage door, we grab Curtis and start yelling at him "AHHH! Do you know how WORRIED we were when you weren't on for the mat?!" and then we babbled for awhile, and he was carrying this huge stack of stuff, and I had his socks and I was like "Can I ask you a favor?" and he was like "Sure!" And i was like, "Will you wear these tomorrow for the mat?" (They were wrapped and I just sort of set them on top of his pile of stuff) And he was like "Sure! *pause* What are they?" and I was like "Uh... socks." And then he was like, "Aww, I can't wear them during the show unless they're black. But I'll wear them tomorrow AFTER the show!" And we were sad but we were happy.

And we went back to the hotel and plotted for awhile, and then we slept for a little bit, and then we went back to the theatre, and they locked our secret entrance, so we had to sit out in the freezing cold for like 3 1/2 hours. It was SOOOO COLD. And then it started warming up and icicles kept melting on Megan and I so we got up started asking people to sign the Curtis card. Ooh, and my friend Bri's friend Rob was there, and he was being skanky. We asked him to sign the card, and he put "I'm so sorry you have to put up with these freaky-assed people, Curtis. Not all Illinoisians are this bad." And then Megan and I were like "HEEEY!" and he was like, "Why are you so obsessed with him ayway? He plays *Gordon*! *I* could play Gordon!" and then I hit him in the head with Megan's notebook and frowled at him. And then later he was like, "Renata, I have to talk you about your website! You're crazy! Matt is the BEST MARK EVER!" And Megan and I were like, "Well... yeah... he's good, but Scott was just soooo awesome!" And Rob was getting almost violent over the fact that Matt was the best Mark and we were like "Um.. yeah.. we're going over here now..."

Anyway... Haven was on as Maureen! And Dana was Joanne!! And Karmine was Mark's Mom!! It was so wicked cool. And Curtis' stash broke during Christmas bells, and he gave it this look, and Megan and I were laughing so hysterically, and NO ONE ELSE saw this, so they gave us more evil looks. We were like, dammit. And during SOL, I was looking at Cicily, and all of a sudden Megan elbows me, and I"m like "Ow!" and then I look the other way, and Curtis is looking at both of us and laughing at us... so anyway.

Stage door, we gave Curtis his card, and he looked at the front and laughed, and then he looked at the back, and then he looked at us and gave us this weird look, and we were like "Um.. open it" and he looked more puzzled, so we opened it for him and he was like "OHHH!" and he told us he'd read it on the drive to LA... and then Megan made these crazy signs for him to pose with, one said "FOllow the Man!" and one said "Curtis" with an arrow pointing up, and most of the cast was watching us and laughing... it was great. And we got to laugh at Rob because he was madly chasing Dom and we were like "HA! Watch us NOT CHASING Curtis!" SO anyway, yeah, it was great, and... yeah.
