Oooooooooooh my god... this is gonna be long, I can tell... ah well. Okay... Thursday the 21st I met up with Megan in Chinatown, and we wandered around for awhile and eventually made it over to AsiaSF, where we had dinner plans. Our friend Keith was supposed to meet us, but he didn't. Bah. Anyway, so we had ordered our drinks and stuff and then this guy, who we assumed was Keith, walked in. Megan and I elbowed each other and were like "Oooh my god, Keith looks a LOT like Curtis!" We didn't figure out that it actually *was* Curtis until he sat down with us... (apparently my mom randomly decided to invite him to dinner with us...*shrug*) Anyway, then we went over to the Orpheum and met up with Keith (I've known Keith for like 3 years online) and Chelle. *sends out Chelle-love* Anyway, the show was fab, I'm sooooooooooooooooo glad Tricia was back, I LOVE Tricia! (Whenever she was onstage... I would poke Megan and go "Look! Tricia!") It was great. Keith, who had never even seen a play before this (he's homeschooled) absolutely loved it, and we made vague plans to rush. After the show Ryan chased us down and was like "Hey! I'm not a scary homeless person! I'm Ryan!" and we were like "Ahh! I mean.. hi Ryan!" (Hi Ryan! *mwah*)
Anyway, Friday I went to the Exploratorium... which was kind of a letdown... it sounded sooooo cool in the stupid brochure *sob* Anyway, then I got the theatre around 3ish and got front row tickets (what's *that* about?) Then Megan, Megan's mom, Ryan and I went to Subway, and Jeremy, Justin and Joshua were there. Yeah, and the show was great.
Saturday we rushed with Keith and... aw jeeze, a bunch of people, I'm getting names and dates confused... so I'll just say we rushed with a bunch of cool people. At intermission we met Misty (*waves at Misty*) and then after the show Megan, Keith and I wandered over to where the Pride parade booths and stuff were set up. Sunday was great, we watched the parade from the Orpheum with Ryan, Shani, Chelle, Anton, and some other assorted people whose names I didn't catch or don't remember. It was great.
The Sunday matinee was our last show (*sob*) But I'm glad I got to meet all the fabulously cool people there that I did, and now... because I'm bored and it sounds like something to do... I'm going to thank all the fab people I've met at/through Rent... in alphabetical order. *deep breath* Thank you... Amy, Anton, Armstrong, Bri, Chelle, Eileen, Emily, Geoff, Inna, Katie, Katie B, Keith, Kelly, Jenna, Julie, Megan, Misty, *nina*, Rick, Ryan, Savannah, Shani, and Susan! And I know I'm forgetting a lot of people... sorry!
